Additionally, the candidate will support system design, provide advice on security requirements, and debug business systems and service applications. The developer will drive the overall software development lifecycle, including working across functional teams to transform requirements into features, managing development teams and processes, and conducting software testing and maintenance.\nTranslates user needs into technical specifications by understanding, conceptualizing, and facilitating technical requirements from user.\nAnalyzes, develops, tests, and implements new software programs, and documentation of entire software development life cycle execution.\nPerforms preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification of system and core software components.\nEnsures that code/configurations adhere to the security, logging, error handling, and performance standards and non-functional requirements.\nEvaluates new technologies for fit with the program/system/eco-system and the associated upstream and downstream impacts on process, data, and risk.\nFollows release management processes and standards, and applies version controls.\nAssists in interpreting and documentation of client requirements.\nFocus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.\nExercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.\nWorks independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.\nBroader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.\n\nQualifications:\nTypically, between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in developing applications using Power Apps and Power Automate.\nExtensive experience in developing both Model-driven and Canvas apps using Power Apps.\nMicrosoft Power Platform Developer Associate Certification is preferred\nProficiency in customizing and configuring Power Apps to meet business requirements.\nExperience in integrating Power Apps with various data sources, including SharePoint list.\nProficiency in SQL and database management.\nExperience with .NET development is preferred.\nAdditional coding experience in languages such as Java is a plus.\nStrong understanding of SharePoint lists and their integration with Power Apps.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nExperience in testing and troubleshooting applications.
