Operations Team Lead

The PMS Operations lead is responsible for end-to-end operational management of Portfolio Management Services: Role includes all operational activities from onboarding, executions to closure, compliance with regulatory frameworks and high-quality client servicing. The role requires to effectively co-ordinate with investment teams, custodians, Fund accountant, compliance, and clients.\n\nPrimary responsibility (JD)\nManaged end-to-end client Lifecycle: AML/KYC, account setup, maintenance, and closures, ensuring full regulatory compliance.\nEnsure timely and accuracy of PMS operations: trade execution, settlement, reconciliation, Corporate action, Regulatory reporting.\nManage Investor/distributor query resolution without any escalations.\nManage fees/commission processes: management fee calculation (accruals/actuals), Commission computation and payouts.\nCoordination with custodians, Fund accountant, DP/brokers, to ensure seamless transaction processing and settlements.\nLead audit and compliance: Lead all internal and external audit for PMS operations, co-ordinate with compliance, Participate in regulatory audits, Statutory audits.\n\nSkill sets required\n6+ years of PMS operations experience, including managing teams of 5–7 members and handling Ultra HNI clients/distributors\nEnd-to-end PMS operations expertise: trade execution, allocation, settlement, corporate actions, reconciliations, and regulatory/investor reporting\nStrong domain knowledge across mutual funds, equity, debt instruments, and DP operations (NSDL/CDSL) with clear operational understanding\nProven experience in fee management: management fee accruals vs. actuals, distributor commissions, and payouts\nHands-on experience coordinating with custodians, fund accountants, DPs, and brokers\nAbility to manage investor queries and engage effectively with Ultra HNI advisors/RMs\nFamiliarity with PMS platforms such as Wealth Spectrum, BSE Star, etc.\nGood understanding of taxation and related operational implications\nStrong communication and problem-solving capabilities\nExperience in handling or leading PMS regulatory and external audits
