Job Description
The client is a Not for Profit Foundation based in Delhi that works closely with the Government of India and senior stakeholders from Ministries.\nContract Duration - 6 months to a year\nLocation : On-Site | Delhi/Bangalore\nExperience : 5 - 10 years, with experience in the food processing space, or have worked in consulting firms specialising in food processing.\n\nProject Objective\nDefine a state-level vision and reform roadmap for the food processing sector by identifying priority segments through data-driven analysis and stakeholder consultations, enabling targeted policy actions, improved ease of doing business, and increased private sector participation.\n\nProject Description\n- Understand food processing landscape, opportunity and priority segments.\n- Lead high-impact research and analysis, collaborating with all stakeholders to develop a vision for food processing sector growth focusing on priority segments.\n- Lead development of a comprehensive reform roadmap for the sector that helps achieve the vision and build a workplan to drive policy action on the identified issues.\n- Engage with government and private sector leaders and industry bodies in the sector to achieve the above 2 objectives.\n- Provide intellectual and thought leadership, guiding teams to deliver rigorous, high-quality analytical and conceptual outputs.\n- Manage project and work with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and effective stakeholder engagement.\n\nDesired Profile\n- At least 5 - 10 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the food processing space or have worked in top-tier consulting firms specialising in food processing. More is not an issue.\n- Should have experience in food processing companies (such as ITC, Britannia, Tata Consumer, Heritage Foods, Agro Foods, etc.).\n- Should also have experience working in CII/FICCI agri teams, APEDA, etc.\n- Proven relationships within the food processing industry.\n- Proven project management skills and the ability to analyse complex data sets and devise innovative strategies to solve complex problems.\n- Ability to be hands-on.\n- Self-starter with high entrepreneurial drive and passion for economic growth.\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading large and diverse teams.\n- High level of flexibility and responsiveness, with the ability to shift priorities quickly as organisational needs evolve.
