Job Description: Consultant / Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant – Business Consulting (Apptio / TBM)\nInfosys Consulting is looking for dynamic professionals across levels ( Consultant, Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant ) to join its Technology Business Management (TBM) / Apptio practice .\nThis role focuses on enabling IT cost transparency, financial optimization, and value realization through strategic advisory and Apptio-led implementations. Candidates will work closely with CIOs, CFOs, and IT leadership teams to drive transformation initiatives.\n\nRole Overview\nYou will operate at the intersection of technology, finance, and strategy , contributing to or leading Apptio/TBM programs depending on experience level.\nConsultant: Execution-focused, supports implementation and analysis\nSenior Consultant: Leads workstreams and manages stakeholder interactions\nPrincipal Consultant: Drives strategy, large programs, and executive engagement\n\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Apptio & TBM Advisory\nProvide advisory on IT cost transparency, TBM frameworks, and financial governance\nTranslate business and financial requirements into Apptio-enabled solutions\nDefine TBM strategy, governance models, and operating frameworks (for senior roles)\n2.

Apptio Implementation & Solutioning\nImplement and configure Apptio Cost Transparency & IT Planning solutions\nDesign cost models, allocations, reporting structures, and data mappings\nLead solution architecture and enterprise-scale implementations (Principal level)\n3. Financial & Data Analysis\nAnalyze IT financial and operational data to identify cost drivers and optimization opportunities\nPerform data validation, reconciliation, and variance analysis\nDrive cost optimization and financial insights for leadership\n4. Stakeholder Collaboration\nEngage with Finance, IT, Procurement, and Business stakeholders\nPresent dashboards, insights, and recommendations to leadership\nAct as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders (Principal level)\n5.

Delivery & Leadership\nEnsure timely, high-quality delivery of modules/workstreams\nMentor junior team members and review deliverables (Senior / Principal)\nLead large transformation programs and multiple workstreams (Principal)\n6. Documentation, Reporting & Practice Development\nPrepare implementation documents, dashboards, and executive presentations\nTrack KPIs related to IT spend, service costing, and financial performance\nSupport business development, proposals, and practice building (Principal level)\n\nExperience & Qualifications\nConsultant\n5+ years of experience in IT consulting / IT financial management / Apptio / TBM\nBachelor’s in Engineering / IT / Computer Science or related field\nSenior Consultant\n9+ years of relevant experience\nEngineering: ~10+ years\n\nPrincipal Consultant\n12+ years of experience\nProven experience leading large consulting engagements\n\nRequired Skills\nStrong understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and allocations\nKnowledge of TBM frameworks and financial governance\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities\n\nPreferred Skills\nHands-on experience with Apptio (Cost Transparency / IT Planning / Billing)\nExposure to Cloud Financial Management / FinOps (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nStrong expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis\n\nWhy Join Us\nWork on high-impact global transformation programs\nCollaborate with senior leadership (CIO/CFO organizations)\nBuild deep expertise in TBM, Apptio, and FinOps domains
