At Biocon Biologics, Finance is one of the major pillars and an essential ingredient to a successful business\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead end-to-end month-end revenue closure across all regions ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant revenue recognition in line with defined close timelines and accounting policies.\nDrive coordination with regional finance teams, 3PL partners, and shared services to ensure timely submission and validation of revenue inputs.\nReview and approve SAP revenue postings, ensuring correct accounting of sales, rebates, chargebacks, and SRA (Sales Return Accrual) adjustments.\nConsolidate regional data into monthly revenue reports, ensuring accurate cut-off, completeness, and audit readiness.\nOwn period-end accounts receivable closure, ensuring completeness and accuracy of trade receivables:\nReview ageing reports and validate classification and balances.\nEnsure appropriate accounting for rebates, chargebacks, and deductions impacting AR.\nOversee receivables management, driving collection effectiveness, dispute resolution, and cash conversion, in coordination with commercial and regional teams.\nOwn and standardise DSO methodology across geographies. Analyze DSO trends by geography and customer segment.

Provide actionable insights on collection efficiency, credit terms, and working capital optimization. Support management reporting on DSO movements and ageing drivers.\nDesign and enforce revenue assurance controls over data flow from 3PL systems to SAP. Ensure compliance with internal policies, IFRS / Ind AS (revenue recognition, rebates, variable consideration).\nCo-ordinate, review and provide support through appropriate inputs to the reporting teams for the monthly/quarterly and yearly MIS reporting\nLead special finance projects, manage the centralised financed system with an ambition to further automate processes\nAct as key point of contact for statutory and tax audits:\nProvide audit-ready schedules, reconciliations, and documentation\nSupport closure of audit queries with evidence-based explanations.\nEnsure strong audit trail and compliance across revenue and AR processes\nContribute to transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA transition and AI/analytics-driven automation projects, ensuring alignment of revenue processes with future-state systems.\nWork with onshore and offshore finance team reporting within Biocon Biologics group, to monitor all transactions and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day revenue operations\nDevelop and maintain sound internal control system in revenue reporting processes\n\nEducation, Experience and Skill\n\nExperience – 8+ years of experience.\nQualification – Chartered Accountant preferably with Big4 experience\nShould be able to manage a team of 5+\nHands on experience with SAP will be an added advantage\nAbility to understand and effectively apply technical accounting guidance for Revenue accounting\nExcellent analytical skills\nStakeholder management\nProficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint\nExcellent Communication Skills (Written & Oral) and Networking skills\nFlexibility & open mind to look at dynamic and ever-changing business environment and needs\nTime management & ability to prioritize work / Multitasking\nStrong command over accounting\nResult oriented\n\nBiocon Biologics is an Equal Opportunity, EEO / Affirmative Action Employer committed to excellence through diversity.
