Associate Director – City Operations\nDH Operations Department\n\nNo lengthy intro here, let’s get straight to the details, Zepto speed.\n\nResponsibilities, aka, what we’d like you to deliver :\n%CF;Own end-to-end First Mile operations across assigned cities — vendor pickups,\ninwarding, hub movements, and inter-hub transfers.\n%CF;Ensure strict SLA adherence for pickups and dispatch with minimal losses, delays, or\ndamages.\n%CF; Drive high inventory accuracy across hubs and dark stores through audits,\nreconciliations, and strong loss-prevention controls.\n%CF;Partner with Central Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate inventory\ninflow, replenishment, and dispatch alignment.\n%CF;Lead manpower planning based on volume forecasts, ensuring optimal staffing across\nhubs and ground operations.\n%CF; Manage and mentor Hub Managers, Inventory Associates, and ground staff with a sharp\nfocus on productivity and performance improvement.\n%CF;Optimize per-unit operational costs while maintaining quality and service benchmarks.\n%CF;Standardize and enforce SOPs to reduce leakages, shrinkage, pilferage, and process\ninefficiencies.\n%CF;Leverage dashboards, WMS, and manpower tracking tools to drive real-time visibility and\ngovernance.\n%CF;Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to implement automation initiatives such as\nbarcode scanning, slotting optimization, and pick-pack improvements.\n%CF;Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations across all warehouse\nenvironments.\n%CF;Act as the SPOC for city-level escalations related to First Mile, inventory gaps, and\nmanpower issues.\n%CF; Drive structured governance through performance reviews, metric dashboards, and\naccountability frameworks.\n\nAre you who we're searching for\n%CF;Qualification:Graduation required; MBA preferred (Operations/Supply Chain) or\nequivalent hands-on experience.\n%CF;Experience: 8–12+ years in warehouse, dark store, fulfillment center, or First Mile logistics\noperations with multi-city exposure.\n%CF;Strong expertise in First Mile logistics, inventory control, and warehouse management\nsystems (WMS).\n%CF;Proven experience managing large, distributed ground teams and city-level operations.\n%CF;Strong command over KPIs — SLA adherence, shrinkage, cost per unit, manpower\nproductivity, and service metrics.\n%CF; Demonstrated ability to manage cost levers while scaling operations efficiently.\n%CF;Tech-comfortable and data-driven; able to operate through dashboards and structured\nreviews.\n%CF;Execution-focused, ownership-driven, and comfortable operating in high-volume,\nhigh-growth environments.\n%CF;Process-oriented leader with the ability to build, enforce, and scale operational SOPs.\nSounds like we’re talking about you?
