Application Process\nReview Applications: Assess applications submitted by prospective students for\ncompleteness and accuracy.\nDocument Verification: Ensure that all required documents (transcripts, letters of\nrecommendation, etc.) are submitted and meet schools standards.\nInformation Accuracy: Verify that all information provided by applicants is correct and\nconsistent throughout the application.\nCommunication with Applicants: Notify students of any missing documents or\ninformation and provide guidance on how to resolve issues.\nMaintain Records: Keep accurate records of applications, including status updates and\ncommunication logs.\nCollaboration: Work closely with other departments to facilitate a smooth admissions\nprocess and ensure compliance with schools policies.\nReporting: Prepare reports on application trends and provide insights to improve the\nadmissions process.\n\n2. Application Evaluation\nEvaluate Applications: Assess applicants based on academic qualifications,\nextracurricular activities, personal statements, and varied letters.\nEstablish Criteria: Develop and apply evaluation criteria to ensure a fair and\ncomprehensive assessment of each candidate.\nProvide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to applicants regarding their strengths\nand areas for improvement.\nDocumentation: Maintain detailed records of evaluation processes and decisions for\naccountability and future reference.\n\n3. Student Advocacy\nServe as Intermediaries: Act as a liaison between students and the school, ensuring\ntheir needs and concerns are addressed.\nSupport Transition: Provide guidance to students during their transition from high\nschool to college.\nFacilitate Admission Processes: Assist students in navigating the admissions process\nto ensure a smooth experience.\nAdvocate for Students: Represent students' interests and ensure their voices are heard\nin the admissions process.\n\nQualifications & Skills:\nAny graduate\n3+ years of experience in Counselling or education field\nExperience in school admissions or related educational roles.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.\nProficiency in technology and information management systems.\nKey Attributes:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written English communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.\nResults-driven with attention to detail and a passion for education.
