Job Title - Cyber Security Engineer\nLocation - Chennai (Hybrid)\nExperience - Freshers (2025/2026 Pass-outs)\nEducation - B.Tech / M.Tech from IITs (Computer Science, Information Security, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines)\nRole Overview:\nWe are looking for highly motivated IIT graduates who are passionate about Cyber Security and eager to build a career in securing enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, and digital assets. The candidate will work closely with senior security professionals to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement security controls.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nMonitor security events and investigate potential threats.\nAssist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.\nSupport security audits and compliance initiatives.\nAnalyze security incidents and contribute to incident response activities.\nWork with development and infrastructure teams to implement security best practices.\nConduct research on emerging cyber threats and security technologies.\nSupport cloud security and network security initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nStrong understanding of Computer Networks, Operating Systems, and Security Fundamentals.\nKnowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls, and Network Protocols.\nUnderstanding of Cyber Security concepts such as Authentication, Encryption, Malware Analysis, and Threat Detection.\nFamiliarity with Linux and Windows environments.\nBasic scripting knowledge in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExposure to Ethical Hacking, CTF competitions, or Security Projects.\nKnowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nFamiliarity with Security Tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, Nmap, or Splunk.\n\nSoft Skills:\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nQuick learner with a research-oriented mindset.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.
