The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission 'To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.’\nResponsibilities\nOn transfer technologies – work with module, CFM and process integration teams to drive Product Yield improvement in partnership with customers.\nIntegrated different data source/types from CFM, in-line metrology, WAT, MES, FDC, Sort, etc to provide engineers robust signals for yield management and improvement\nOn new technologies, drive SRAM and Test/Qual vehicle yield improvements\nEstablish yield targets along with customers, based on standardized models (e.g. Bose-Einstein)\nSet up software/hardware capabilities necessary for yield improvement\nMentor and lead more junior engineers as required\nBuild strong customer relationships based on confidence in TEPL technical capabilities\nPresentation to internal and customer senior executives\nTravel, as necessary\nDrive cross-functional yield improvement projects and DOEs\nGuide FA and convert findings into corrective/preventive actions\nDetect yield excursions; drive containment and disposition (hold/quarantine/rework)\nMonitor and improve CP/FT yield and key KPIs (bin yield, D0/D1, DPW ..)\nEssential Attributes\nAbility to manage, mentor, and lead a team of highly motivated professionals.\nAble to work independently, self-motivated with a strong drive to win.\nTeam player with the ability to work across diverse cross-functional teams spread across the world.\nLeadership skills to influence all levels of the organization.\nYou’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people.\nAn avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.\nYou’re collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.\nInnovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change.\nQualifications\nM.S or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chem E, EE or equivalent\nFamiliar with Klarity ACE, Converter, Discover etc\nStrong understanding of IT systems and big data analytics\nFamiliarity with AI/ML, DBMS and writing code is a plus\nStrong understanding of analytical techniques (SEM, FIB, TEM, Photo-Emission, Fault Isolation, SIMS, ICP-MS, Chromatography, Nano-probing, etc). Able to use bit-maps, wafer maps, nano-probing, tools variances analysis, etc to get to root cause and corrective actions\nGood circuits background to drive discussions with customers\nGood device and integration background\nProven track record in yield improvement on new and mature technologies\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and achieve project completion within timeline and cost targets\nAbility to work across different cultures and geographies\nGood team player\nInnovation and competitive mindset\nDesired Experience Level\n10+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry\nProven track record of successfully developing new technologies into high volume production\nProven problem-solving skills using design of experiments and analytical tools
