Establishing Common Services Centres (CSCs) and Post Offices as points of access for reading glasses for the low-income adults is a key focus area at our organisation and requires a proactive and dynamic approach.

The candidate should be dedicated and sincere towards her/his work and should always be open to learning new things. The candidate should have in-depth subject matter knowledge, expertise, and experience. Timely and high-quality delivery of goals would be essential and will be a key performance measurement criterion.

The senior lead will be responsible for adapting our organisation program frameworks to the local context, managing implementation teams, ensuring timely and high-quality program delivery, maintaining compliance with organisational standards, and contributing to organisation’s long-term growth and impact in the region. In this pivotal role, s/he will lead the delivery of one of our newest operational models - bringing clear vision closer to communities with limited access to quality eyecare. Working at the intersection of innovation, impact, and community engagement, you will help shape the future of vision access in the country.

S/he serves as a key team member in the programs team and will be based of Delhi NCR (Noida). This is a 1-year fixed-term contract with potential for extension.\n\nAbout You\nYou are an arranger - you like to orchestrate all elements of a Program and bring it to fruition. You are a visionary leader with expertise in spearheading people-centric initiatives, fostering growth through strategic partnerships and community engagement.\nYou have run Programs and love the Program cycle, and you understand the benefits of structured Program implementation.\nYou love working with all kinds of teams and people.

We are a lean team of doers.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nProgram Management\nOversee all program activities, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery and achievement of goals.\nMonitor progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively troubleshoot challenges, and adjust strategies to optimise results.\nEnsure full compliance with organisational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.\nIntegrate data analytics and learning into program management to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.\n\nStrategic Alignment\nDevelop and execute organisation-level strategies, along with actionable workplans and budgets aligned with organisational objectives.\nLead program design processes, including conducting needs assessments, developing theories of change, and establishing impact measurement frameworks.\nIdentify and escalate local risks and opportunities to the Program Managers for timely strategic adjustments.\n\nTeam and Stakeholder Management\nSupervise and support Program Implementation Leads, promoting a high-performance culture.\nFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and accountability across teams.\nEnsure all staff and partners are trained in programming methodologies, standards, and organisational values.\nServe as a secondary liaison to external stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs, and other partners, after global leadership engagement.\nCollaborate with policy teams to support advocacy efforts and influence local policies aligned with organisational priorities.\n\nCompliance and Operational/Financial Oversight\nEnsure program activities comply with donor expectations, organisational standards, and legal requirements.\nContribute accurate data and analysis to organisational and donor reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.\nManage and monitor program budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and financial stewardship.\nSupport new partnerships and fundraising efforts by contributing to proposal development and donor reporting.\n\nWhat’s Required\nMaster’s degree/MBA in marketing, partnerships development, management, and/or related field.\nA minimum of 12 years of experience in project management is required.\nCandidates with experience in the FMCG or retail sector will be preferred.\nProven track record in managing multi-stakeholder programs.\nExperience with donor-funded projects and grant compliance will be an added advantage.\nAbility to align high-level vision with on-the-ground execution.\nStrong negotiation and representation skills with diverse partners.\nComfortable working in complex, changing environments.\nExperience managing budgets and financial reporting.\nExcellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders in local languages.\nMust meet the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity.\nWillingness to travel up to 50% of the time, within India.\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nSalary based on experience and education.\nCompetitive benefits, including health insurance and generous vacation time.\n\nTo Apply\nWe want to know more than just what you have done.
