Executive Chef
Job Description
The role is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations across the resort, delivering exceptional dining experiences that blend authentic local flavors with international culinary excellence. Working closely with the resort leadership team, the Executive Chef will drive innovation, maintain the highest standards of food quality and hygiene, develop and inspire culinary talent, and ensure every dining experience contributes to exceptional guest satisfaction and the resort’s commercial success.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and deliver unique culinary experiences that celebrate the flavors and heritage of Coorg while incorporating global culinary influences.\nLead and oversee all culinary operations across the resort, including the all-day dining restaurant, wine lounge, bar, in-room dining, and banquet operations.\nMaintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen organization.\nDrive sustainable sourcing practices and ensure responsible procurement of ingredients.\nMonitor inventory, food costs, quality standards, and guest feedback to maintain operational excellence.\nDevelop innovative menus and dining concepts that enhance the guest experience and strengthen the resort’s market positioning.\nTrain, mentor, and inspire the culinary team, fostering a culture of creativity, authenticity, and continuous improvement.\nEnsure compliance with all food safety regulations and company standards.\nCollaborate with the resort leadership team to support business objectives and guest satisfaction goals.\n\nRequirements\nMinimum 4 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a luxury resort or upscale hospitality environment.\nStrong expertise in multi-cuisine operations; knowledge of local Coorgi cuisine will be an added advantage.\nProven leadership experience managing culinary teams within remote or nature-integrated resort environments.\nStrong understanding of food cost management, menu engineering, kitchen operations, and quality control.\nDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing culinary teams.\nPassion for culinary innovation, guest satisfaction, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.\nQuality-driven, highly organized, and committed to operational excellence.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nIf this opportunity appeals to you and you believe you are the right fit, we invite you to apply.\nPlease send your updated CV to before 30th June 2026\n\nOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
