Primary Purpose\nThis role owns ERP responsibilities from pre-close due diligence through post close integration and stabilization. The M&A ERP Systems Lead leads ERP integration outcomes by defining strategy, scope, timelines, and governance, and by overseeing execution performed by internal technical teams and external implementation partners. The role is accountable for decision making, risk management, and delivery of ERP integration objectives, rather than hands on system configuration or development.\n\nMajor Responsibilities\nPre Close Due Diligence\nAssess target company ERP landscapes, including platforms, modules, customizations, integrations, and data structures\nEvaluate ERP support for core business processes (e.g., record to report, order to cash, procure to pay, supply chain)\nIdentify ERP related risks, constraints, and cost drivers\nContribute to integration or separation strategy recommendations (e.g., single instance, two-tier, interim solutions)\nProvide ERP input to deal timelines, synergy estimates, and Day 1 readiness planning\nPost Close Integration Planning\nDefine ERP target state aligned with business and operating model decisions\nDevelop ERP integration or carve out roadmaps, including phases, milestones, and dependencies\nAlign ERP plans with Finance, Operations, HR, and other functional workstreams\nDetermine scope, sequencing, and resourcing approach (internal teams vs.

system integrators)\nSupport vendor selection and statement of work development where applicable\nPost Close Integration Execution\nLead the ERP integration workstream through execution and stabilization\nGovern and coordinate internal technical teams and external implementation partners\nReview and validate solution designs, data migration approaches, and integration strategies\nEnsure Day 1 readiness, cutover planning, and post cutover stabilization\nTrack progress, manage risks and issues, and escalate as needed\nEnsure ERP outcomes meet business requirements, control standards, and compliance needs\nStakeholder & Governance Responsibilities\nServe as the primary ERP point of contact for M&A initiatives\nCommunicate ERP status, risks, and decisions to executive and deal leadership\nTranslate business requirements into ERP capabilities and constraints\nAct as a bridge between functional leaders and technical teams\nSupport integration governance, decision forums, and executive updates\n\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.\n\nWork Experience\nExperience with ERP enabled business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.)\nExperience defining ERP integration strategies and leading ERP workstreams\nAbility to assess ERP risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs in fast paced M&A environments\n8 years of experience with ERP systems in complex enterprise environments\nDirect experience supporting M&A integrations and/or carve outs\nExperience with defining project timelines\nExperience with resource time and availability\n\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nSolid understanding of ERP architecture, data migration, integrations, and security concepts\nAbility to evaluate and challenge technical designs and vendor recommendations\nExcellent problem-solving skills and techniques\nComfort collaborating with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to successfully engage in multiple tasks simultaneously\nThis role does not require hands on configuration, coding, or development\nKnowledge of IT Best Practices\nAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
