Employee Life Cycle (ELC) Lead


Job Requirements*


We are looking for an Employee Life Cycle (ELC) Lead to own and govern

end-to-end employee lifecycle operations for Global and U.S. populations, from

onboarding through employee support, payroll interfaces, position lifecycle,


transfers, reporting, and offboarding.


This role is responsible for process governance, Tier-1/Tier-2 case management

oversight, system accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring

a consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee experience across all lifecycle


stages.


Key

Responsibilities*


ELC Governance & Case Management Oversight

• Own governance of Case Management – First Line Support processes


across Tier 1 and Tier 2


• Ensure accurate triaging, resolution, escalation, and documentation of


cases


• Enforce ticket hygiene standards (updates, work notes, public comments,


SLAs)


• Drive consistent application of knowledge articles and response templates

• Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 3 or COE teams when required

Employee & Manager Education (Policies, Benefits, Payroll)

• Oversee employee education related to:

 Benefits, wellness, insurance, retirement, COBRA, and perks


programs


 Payroll topics (pay statements, tax forms, AIP, deductions,


allowances)


 Time & attendance, leave policies, and holidays

• Ensure knowledge artifacts are accurate, current, and easily accessible

• Partner with Benefits, Payroll, and COEs to address KB gaps

Onboarding (New Hire) – Global & U.S.

• Govern end-to-end onboarding processes including:

 Pre-clearance (background checks, drug screening, I-9)

 New hire data entry and validation in Poornata

 Document collection, uploads, and HR system setup

• Coordinate relocation, mobility, IT, payroll, and benefits notifications

• Ensure consistent onboarding communications, orientation, and manager


toolkits


• Monitor onboarding SLAs and employee readiness for Day 1

Employee Data & HR Systems Management


• Oversee employee data changes (personal data, dependents, bank info,


tax data)


• Ensure accurate updates across Poornata, UKG, iCIMS, EdFlix, OBIEE,


UKG/Kronos


• Govern HR system access, role management, troubleshooting, and audits


• Partner with HRIS and IT to resolve systemic issues

Pre-Payroll & Payroll Interface Governance


• Govern pre-payroll activities across U.S. locations (hourly and salaried)

• Ensure accurate payroll inputs, timing, and handoffs to payroll teams

• Oversee escalations related to pay discrepancies and payroll corrections

• Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, and Accounting teams

Transfers, Promotions & Position Lifecycle

• Govern employee transfers, promotions, and

inter-company/inter-business movements


• Ensure accurate effective dating, payroll impacts, and access reviews


• Oversee position lifecycle processes:

 Job evaluation and approvals

 Headcount requests and mass actions

 Position updates, deactivations, and compliance

Offboarding (Termination) – Global & U.S.

• Govern end-to-end offboarding processes:

 System updates, separation notices, final pay inputs

 Severance calculations and documentation

 Exit surveys and exit communications

• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal requirements

• Coordinate with Payroll, HRBPs, Equifax, and Legal stakeholders


Reporting, Audits & Compliance


• Govern ELC reporting standards (scope, approvals, data security, formats)

• Support internal and external audits (EEO-1, payroll, benefits, data


privacy)


• Track audit findings, corrective actions, and follow-ups

• Monitor policy, legal, and regulatory changes impacting the employee


lifecycle


Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

• Own Knowledge Base updates, approvals, and communications

• Drive SOP creation, updates, and standardization

• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities

• Lead change management initiatives impacting lifecycle operations
