• Remote only — work from anywhere
• Must be available for standups at 8:00 AM, three times per week
What You'll Work On
• Design solid backend systems and scalable SaaS architecture
• Build robust APIs and backend services using our TypeScript stack (Bun, Hono, and modern
runtimes/frameworks)
• Deploy and manage systems on AWS or Google Cloud
• Implement observability practices including structured logging, distributed tracing, and metrics
collection to support proactive monitoring and alerting
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of distributed systems
What We're Looking For
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals with solid API and system design instincts
• Primary experience in TypeScript — familiarity with modern backend tooling such as Bun and
Hono
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud
• Ability to design and ship production-grade systems with minimal oversight
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and document databases (MongoDB) is
strongly preferred
• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code
Bonus
• Experience with SaaS platforms or early-stage startups
• Familiarity with microservices or distributed systems architecture
• Experience building or working with LLM-powered systems or agentic workflows — tool-using AI
systems, automation agents, or AI copilots
• Familiarity with Go or Java as secondary backend languages
Sound like you?
We'd love to hear from you. Apply with a brief note about your background and the types of systems you've built.
