Job title: Product Marketing Manager

Report to: VP Marketing / CMO

JOB SUMMARY/ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Product Marketing Manager will own the positioning, go-to-market strategy, communication, and adoption journey for Prudent's digital products and platforms.

This role requires a hybrid mindset — part Product Manager, part Brand Strategist, part Growth Marketer.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Understand product capabilities deeply
  • Translate features into business value
  • Build adoption and engagement campaigns
  • Work closely with product, sales, servicing, and leadership teams
  • Create differentiated positioning in a crowded market
  • Drive internal and external product awareness

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Technology, Engineering or a related field.
  • MBA/ Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Product Management, Digital business, or strategy preferred.
  • Certifications in Product Marketing, growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, UX/Product Strategy, or SaaS Marketing would be an added advantage.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Tech teams, Product development from Product led startups, consulting, digital product environments, employee benefits or platform businesses.
  • Strong understanding of both marketing and digital products/platforms
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling communication
  • Experience in GTM strategy, product launches, and customer engagement
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret user and campaign data
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Growth Marketing, or B2B Marketing
  • Experience in SaaS, InsurTech, Employee Benefits, HRTech, FinTech, or Digital Platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with user journeys, UX thinking, and customer lifecycle communication
  • Experience working with technology/product teams is a strong advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop clear positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for each product/platform.
  • Translate technical features into client-friendly and employee-friendly narratives.
  • Create product storytelling aligned with business outcomes and customer pain points.

Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy

  • Plan and execute launch strategies for new products, features, and enhancements.
  • Build product adoption journeys for clients, employees, and internal teams.
  • Develop targeted campaigns based on industries, client segments, and use cases.

Product & Marketing Bridge

  • Work closely with product and tech teams to understand product evolution and roadmap.
  • Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to product teams.
  • Ensure marketing and communication are aligned with actual product experience.

Customer Adoption & Engagement

  • Improve product adoption through lifecycle communication and engagement campaigns.
  • Analyze user behavior and identify opportunities to improve onboarding and usage.
  • Work with servicing and relationship teams to increase platform utilization.

Growth & Analytics

  • Track campaign effectiveness, engagement metrics, and product adoption KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell, upsell, and user retention.
  • Use data and market insights to refine communication and positioning strategies.
