Product Manager - Robotics
Job Description
Autonomous robots, humanoid systems, industrial manipulators, and AI-powered physical instruments are rapidly moving from research labs into the real world — and they all need one thing: high-quality, real-world physical training data.\nUnlike text or image data, physical AI training data requires carefully orchestrated real-world data collection operations — capturing motion, force, spatial interaction, sensor feeds, and human demonstrations across diverse environments and conditions. This data is the lifeblood of foundation models for robotics, and getting it right requires a unique blend of operational thinking, platform curiosity, and strong customer empathy.\nAt TI AI, we are building the end-to-end infrastructure and operational capability to collect, manage, and deliver physical training data at scale — empowering the world's leading robotics model builders to train safer, smarter, and more capable systems.\n\nRole Description\nWe are seeking a Product Manager – Physical AI & Robotics Data to help own and drive our data collection platform and operational products for the robotics and physical AI domain.\nThis is an exciting, high-growth role at the intersection of hardware, operations, and software — ideal for a PM who is early in their career but eager to work on a genuinely novel and fast-moving problem. You will work alongside robotics companies, foundation model builders, and physical AI teams to understand their training data needs, and collaborate with our internal operations teams who physically collect this data in the field — helping design the tools, workflows, and platforms that make this possible at scale.\nYou will play a key connective role between customers who build robotic models, the operations teams who collect physical training data, and the engineering teams who build the platforms that support it all — with mentorship and guidance from senior product leadership.\n\nResponsibilities\nContribute to and help execute the product roadmap for physical AI data collection — supporting prioritisation decisions and driving delivery of key initiatives that serve robotics and embodied AI customers.\nEngage with customers and stakeholders — participate in conversations with robotics model builders, physical AI companies, and hardware teams to understand their training data requirements and help translate them into product solutions.\nWork closely with operations teams who conduct physical data collection in the field — learn their workflows, identify pain points, and collaborate on building internal tools that make them faster and more effective.\nSupport the development of internal platforms for managing physical data collection tasks — including task assignment, data capture tracking, quality review workflows, metadata management, and delivery pipelines.\nCollaborate with engineering on feature scoping, writing product requirements, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of product initiatives.\nTrack and report on key metrics — data collection throughput, quality rates, operational efficiency, customer SLA adherence, and platform adoption — and use data to inform decisions.\nWork cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions, Operations, Engineering, and Data teams to support new customer engagements and ensure successful delivery.\nStay curious and current on the robotics and physical AI landscape — including trends in humanoid robotics, manipulation, locomotion, teleoperation, and the data needs of leading foundation model efforts in this space.\nSupport Sales and Product Marketing in articulating our physical AI data capabilities, contributing to RFPs, and helping shape go-to-market messaging.\nHelp document and build playbooks for new data collection modalities — whether that's teleoperation, human demonstration capture, multi-sensor fusion, or environment-specific collection protocols.\n\nRequirements\n2–5 years of overall experience, with at least 1–2 years in a product management role within AI data, robotics, autonomous systems, operations-heavy tech platforms, or adjacent domains.\nCuriosity about the robotics or physical AI ecosystem — some familiarity with how robotic models are trained, what data they require, or who the key players are in this space; willingness to learn fast is equally valued.\nExposure to working with operations or field teams — an appreciation for building products for people doing physical, real-world work, not just software users.\nComfortable with technical conversations — able to engage with engineering teams on data pipelines, platform features, and product specs without needing to be a deep technical expert.\nSome customer-facing experience — ability to participate in discovery conversations, ask the right questions, and help translate requirements into actionable plans.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills — able to clearly articulate problems, write crisp PRDs, and collaborate across diverse teams.\nComputer Science, Robotics, or Engineering degree from a reputed institute; equivalent practical experience is equally welcome.\nAdaptable and eager to learn — comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the playbook is still being written.\n\nYou'll Catch Our Eye If...\nYou have any hands-on exposure to robotics systems — through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects — and can hold a basic conversation with robotics engineers.\nYou've worked at the intersection of software and physical operations — and understand that the hardest problems here aren't just in code, but in coordinating people, environments, and hardware.\nYou've worked on or contributed to data products — annotation tools, data pipelines, collection tooling, or similar — and understand what it takes to deliver structured, high-quality data.\nYou are genuinely excited about physical AI — you follow developments in humanoid robotics, manipulation research, and embodied intelligence, and you're curious about the role data plays in making it all work.\nYou're a strong collaborator who can build trust with both technical customers and on-the-ground operations teams.\nYou have a bias for action and ownership — you don't wait to be told what to do; you identify problems, propose solutions, and follow through.\nYou bring structured thinking to messy, ambiguous problems and can break them down into clear, actionable next steps.\n\nBenefits\nWork with a world-class team solving one of the most forward-looking problems in AI today\nHealth Insurance for you and your family\nOpen, collaborative culture with direct access to leadership\nMentorship and growth opportunities within a fast-scaling global AI company\nWork accessories and a great office location\nFlexible working hours\nCompetitive compensation aligned with experience and market standards
