Job Objective

The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, monitoring, and enhancing structured clinical training programs for clinical and para-clinical teams across all centers.

The role focuses on strengthening:

  • Clinical reasoning

  • Continuous performance improvement

Key Functional Areas

The Clinical Trainer will lead and manage training programs for:

  • Nurses
  • RMOs
  • Counsellors
  • Financial Counsellors
  • Pharmacists
  • PROs
  • Other clinical and para-clinical profiles

The role will drive clinical excellence through:

  • Evidence-based practices
  • SOP implementation
  • Structured learning programs
  • Continuous quality improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities

A. Clinical Training & Delivery

1. Design & Deliver Clinical Training Programs On:

  • Fertility cycle management
  • IVF / IUI / OPU / ET protocols and procedures
  • Emergency management in IVF setups
  • Clinical documentation and patient consent
  • Anaesthesia and drug protocols for Nurses and RMOs

2. Conduct Role-Based Clinical Training

Nurses

  • Nursing care plans
  • Patient monitoring
  • Aseptic techniques
  • IVF-specific SOPs

RMOs

  • Patient monitoring
  • Emergency care
  • Documentation practices
  • Handover protocols

Counsellors

  • Clinical understanding for IVF/IUI counselling
  • Donor and surrogacy counselling support

Financial Counsellors

  • Treatment plans and package understanding
  • Counselling methodologies

Pharmacists

  • Drug usage and dosage instructions
  • Temperature-sensitive medication handling

PROs

  • Basic clinical awareness
  • Patient communication and empathy

3. Learning Methodologies

  • Case-based discussions
  • Simulations and role plays
  • Group learning sessions
  • Practical demonstrations

4. Training Customization

Customize training programs based on:

  • Staff role
  • Experience level
  • Center-specific requirements

B. Induction & Refresher Programs

  • Conduct induction programs for newly joined clinical and para-clinical staff
  • Implement structured 15-Day, 30-Day, 60-Day, and 90-Day training plans with progress assessments
  • Conduct periodic refresher trainings on:
  • Clinical SOPs
  • Process updates
  • Quality standards

C. SOP & Protocol Adherence

  • Train teams on SOPs related to:
  • IVF
  • OT
  • IPD
  • OPD
  • Emergencies
  • Patient counselling
  • Ensure standardized implementation of protocols across all centers
  • Conduct audits and retrain teams in cases of:
  • Deviations
  • Non-compliance
  • Process gaps

D. Assessment & Performance Monitoring

  • Conduct pre-training assessments and post-training evaluations
  • Identify learning gaps and training effectiveness
  • Share evaluation reports and feedback with the Learning & Development Manager
  • Observe on-ground practices and identify areas requiring:
  • Reinforcement
  • Coaching
  • Mentoring

E. Coordination & Reporting

  • Collaborate with departmental trainers for integrated training delivery
  • Maintain records of:
  • Training sessions
  • Attendance
  • Assessments
  • Feedback
  • Submit:
  • Weekly reports
  • Monthly training reports
  • Audit findings
  • Improvement recommendations
  • Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management as required

F. Inter-Center Training Support

  • Travel to assigned centers for:
  • Training delivery
  • Supervision
  • On-ground support
  • Conduct clinical rounds with RMOs and nursing teams
  • Standardize clinical knowledge and SOP practices across centers

G. Research & Content Development

Develop and update training materials based on:

  • Latest medical guidelines
  • Evidence-based practices
  • Internal clinical protocols

Create and maintain:

  • PPT presentations
  • Training handbooks
  • Clinical casebooks
  • E-learning content

Update modules regularly using:

  • Audit feedback
  • Clinical observations
  • Medical advisory recommendations

H. Communication & Patient-Centric Approach

Train staff to communicate clinical information:

  • Ethically
  • Clearly
  • Effectively

Promote:

  • Empathy
  • Transparency
  • Integrity

Ensure alignment with:

Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management as required.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

  • BAMS / BHMS / MBBS (Preferred)

Experience

  • Experience in clinical training, healthcare operations, IVF setups, or hospital training preferred
