Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Fashion Designer to join our on-site team at The House of Govinda in Mumbai. This is a full-time role involving the design and creation of innovative menswear garments while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. The Fashion Designer will collaborate closely with clients to understand their personal preferences, oversee fabric and material selection, and contribute to fitting sessions. Additionally, the candidate will play an integral role in incorporating embroidery techniques and working with textiles to bring personalized designs to life.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fashion Design and a strong ability to conceptualize and create unique menswear collections.
- Experience with Embroidery techniques and working with various Textiles to produce high-quality designs.
- Expertise in Fitting and tailoring to ensure proper garment structure, comfort, and style.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of luxury fashion standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in bespoke or premium fashion design is a plus.
