Associate, Founder's office
Job Description
You'll work directly with the founder on the things that matter most — translating intent into reality, spotting what's slowing the company down, and removing those blockers before they compound.\n\nWe're not looking for someone to build decks. We're looking for someone who gets things done - someone who can walk into an ambiguous situation, figure out what needs to happen, and make it happen.\n\nThe split is roughly 20% strategy, 80% execution. On any given week you might be structuring a new go-to-market motion, following up with a key prospect, digging into operational bottlenecks, or owning a cross-functional project end-to-end.\n\nWhat you'll work on\n\nOwn high-priority initiatives from problem definition to resolution — not just the analysis, but the outcome\nWork directly with the founder to sharpen strategy, set priorities, and track progress across the business\nIdentify gaps in operations, sales, or product processes and build the systems to fix them\nManage relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders on behalf of the founder\nRun special projects that don't fit neatly into any one team — and don't need to\nSynthesise information across the company and surface what actually matters for decision-making\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\nBackground\n2–5 years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent), OR prior experience in a Founder's Office or Chief of Staff role at a high-growth startup\nTrack record of owning work end-to-end, not just contributing to it\n\nSkills and traits\nResourceful - you find a way, not an excuse\nStrong structured thinking; even stronger follow-through\nComfortable in ambiguity; you create clarity rather than waiting for it\nSharp written and verbal communication\nLow ego, high ownership\n\nWhy this role\n\nYou'll see the direct impact of your work - not across six clients in a slide deck, but in a single product that will be your baby.\nYou'll be a meaningful part of taking Fundwave from where it is to 10x its current scale - that journey is rare, and this seat is close to the centre of it.\nYou'll learn how a product business actually runs: sales, product, ops, finance - not a slice of it, but all of it.\nSmall team means real ownership.
There's no committee between you and the decision.\nIf you've spent years writing presentations for clients who implement them without you - this is the antidote\n\nThis role is probably not for you if...\nYou want a clearly scoped job with a defined playbook from day one\nYou prefer large team environments with structured career tracks\nYou're more comfortable advising than doing\nYou need external validation to move fast
