ERP Finance Functional Consultant

The company is committed to practical, results-focused consulting that supports sustainable business growth.\nRole Description This is a full-time, hybrid ERP Finance Functional Consultant role based in Nagpur, with flexibility for partial work from home. The consultant will work closely with clients to analyze existing finance and business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into Epicor ERP configurations and solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting workshops, documenting process flows, designing and validating finance-related modules (such as GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets), and supporting data migration and system testing. The role involves coordinating with technical teams for customizations, providing user training and post-go-live support, and helping drive adoption of best practices in ERP-enabled financial operations. The consultant will also participate in project planning, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure successful and timely implementations.\nQualifications\nStrong understanding of Business Process design, mapping, and optimization in finance and related functions.\nProven Analytical Skills for requirements gathering, gap analysis, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.\nHands-on experience with ERP Implementations , including configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.\nSolid knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts and architectures, preferably with Epicor or similar platforms.\nBackground in Finance , including core accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant certifications are an advantage.\nExperience working as a functional consultant or business analyst on ERP or finance transformation projects.\nAbility to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and facilitate client workshops.\nStrong documentation skills for process flows, functional specifications, and user guides.\nWillingness to work in a hybrid model from Nagpur and occasionally travel to client sites as project needs require.
