Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai for the role of Assistant Professor of Rheumatology. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development in the field of Rheumatology. Additional responsibilities include conducting medical research, contributing to the publication of scholarly articles, and participating in conferences. The role also involves patient consultation and care at the affiliated medical center, focusing on the management of rheumatologic disorders. Candidates will engage in academic collaborations and contribute to institutional research initiatives.


Qualifications

  • DM clinical immunology and rheumatology
  • Strong knowledge in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, and related clinical areas
  • Experience in academic teaching and curriculum development
  • Proficiency in conducting medical research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals
  • Skills in patient care, consultation, and treatment of rheumatologic conditions
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to academic growth, continuous improvement, and collaborative projects
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) in Rheumatology, with relevant certifications
  • Prior teaching or clinical experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with national and international medical research practices and standards is advantageous
