GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:


  • Support for global (with focus on EMEA-APAC) questions and topics related to local product costs, variances, inventories, integrated-Cogs based on the global Operational Finance team guidelines and standards
  • Support with monthly close/forecasting activities on product cost control Globally with focus on EMEA-APAC, including production variances (including capitalization and amortization), standard costing inquiries, support overhead variance review, and 3rd party margin reconciliations
  • Support for all global and local audits for Product costs questions (including inventories and counts)


YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:


Month End closing/Forecasting

  • Support with monthly close activities on product cost control including production variance analysis with capitalization/amortization, local cost reviews, and 3rd party margin reconciliations.
  • Calculate ICOGS for monthly sales and populate all reporting
  • Review monthly the accuracy of regional / Legal entity local Margin, local costs, variances and inventory and WIP accounts


Local / regional Audit

  • Support local and global audits on product costs related questions including testing


Reports and analysis and support

  • Variance analysis for PPV and Production Cost Variance and write-offs within the region
  • Support with AOP and Forecast process for ICOGS processing and reporting (PBI or OneStream)
  • Steering and supporting the region's inventory levels to collaborate with Supply Chain on global inventory management process (day-to-day ad hoc communications with PS/Commercial/Customer Experience, etc…)
  • Supporting review regarding accuracy product costings for all the materials manufactured and purchased within the region
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for local/ regional senior management and other stakeholders of both local costs and on Integrated Cogs
  • Integrated Cogs construction and analysis based on the global Operational Finance team guidelines and standards
  • Organize regular physical presence on site of tollers in the Region (time may vary by Region)
  • Train and educate region Product Supply on variances, results, and impact of different actions
  • Work with region to ensure inventory transactions are complete accurately and timely
  • Other product cost related tasks, as defined by FinOps Leadership

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 2 to 4 years experience in manufacturing accounting or product controlling or cost accounting
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, pro active, ability to work within a complex multicultural environment,
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Has worked in international roles before (preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as ability to solve problems and to simplify complex tasks
  • Affinity to Controlling systems, ERP’s, Datalake/ Datawarehouse, PowerBI, OneStream
