This includes preparing pitch materials, conducting financial analysis, and supporting senior bankers in coverage of key corporate and institutional clients.

The role requires strong financial modeling, market research, and presentation skills, along with the ability to contribute to client meetings and relationship management initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Coverage & Pitching\nAssist senior coverage bankers in managing client relationships across sectors.\nPrepare client pitches, presentations, and briefing notes for new business development.\nParticipate in select client meetings, contributing to discussions and providing analytical insights.\nTrack client engagement activities and help in identifying cross-sell opportunities.\nAnalytical Support\nConduct financial statement analysis, valuation, benchmarking, and industry research.\nSupport in preparation of transaction memos, pitchbooks, and internal credit presentations.\nDevelop financial models (DCF, trading comparables, transaction comps, scenario analysis).\nMonitor client portfolio performance and prepare periodic review materials.\nMarket & Sector Research\nTrack industry developments, competitive intelligence, and macroeconomic trends.\nGenerate insights and reports to support client conversations and internal strategy.\nStrategic Leadership\nProvide vision and direction for the growth of IB business.\nIdentify new market opportunities and design strategies for expansion.\nRepresent the firm at industry forums, conferences, and in media.\nTeam Collaboration\nWork closely with product teams (M&A, ECM, DCM, Structured Finance) to deliver holistic solutions.\nCoordinate with risk, compliance, and credit teams for client approvals and deal execution.\nMentor and guide Analysts / interns on research and modeling tasks.\nKey Skills & Competencies:\nStrong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.\nProficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg\nExcellent communication and presentation abilities.\nStrong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment banking products.\nAbility to balance detail-oriented analysis with high-level strategic thinking.\nTeam player with ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.\nQualifications & Experience:\nMBA / CA / CFA / Postgraduate in Finance or related field.\n3–5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, or equity research.\nPrior exposure to coverage banking or client-facing analytical roles preferred.\nExperience in preparing pitchbooks and working on live deals will be an advantage.
