Senior Manager - Brand & Client Engagements
Job Description
This role exists to ensure that these engagements are run with the strategic rigor, creative quality, and client\nconfidence they demand.\nSuccess means clients who feel heard and well-led, projects that stay on track and deliver against\ntheir brief, and creative output — from brand narratives to website copy — that is sharp, distinctive, and rooted in genuine strategic insight.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n1. Creative Direction & Copy Leadership\n- Own the copy output across solutions projects — brand stories, value propositions, taglines,\nwebsite copy, and narrative frameworks\n- Maintain a high creative standard across all written deliverables, ensuring copy is\npurposeful, precise, and on-brand\n- Provide creative direction that aligns copy with visual and strategic intent\n\n2. Project Management & Delivery Oversight\n- Own project plans, timelines, and milestones — tracking progress, managing risks, and\nkeeping stakeholders aligned\n- Manage handovers to delivery teams, ensuring briefs are clear and context is fully\ntransferred\n- Maintain visibility post-handover and step in where needed to keep quality and timelines on\ntrack\n\n3.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management\n- Serve as the primary senior point of contact for clients on solutions engagements\n- Lead client conversations with confidence — presenting work, managing expectations, and\nbuilding trust over the course of a project\n- Navigate feedback and revisions with clarity and professionalism, keeping clients aligned and\nengaged throughout\n\n4. Cross-Functional Collaboration\n- Work in close partnership with strategy, design, digital, and account teams across the agency\n- Ensure that delivery teams have everything they need to execute well — clear briefs, aligned\nstakeholders, and resolved ambiguities\n- Act as a bridge between the Front Office and delivery, maintaining continuity of creative and\nstrategic intent\n\n5. Strategic Consulting & Brand Thinking\n- Collaborate with the research and strategy team on discovery, brand positioning, and\nmessaging frameworks — pressure-testing thinking and sharpening outputs\n- Bring a strategic lens to brand value propositions and creative direction, ensuring the work is\ngrounded and distinctive\n- Bridge strategy and creative, translating validated thinking into clear direction for execution\n\nDesired Skills & Experience\n- 6+ years of experience in brand strategy, copy, or creative leadership — agency background\npreferred\n- Strong working knowledge of the B2B and/or technology industry — familiarity with how\nenterprise and tech brands think, communicate, and go to market is essential\n- Strong strategic consulting ability — able to synthesize data, research, and client input into\nclear brand thinking\n- Proven experience managing client relationships independently\n- Comfortable owning project timelines and driving cross-functional teams toward outcomes\n- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to lead a room with clarity and\nconfidence\n- Experience working on website projects (copy and/or strategy) is essential\n- Familiarity with brand audit methodologies is an advantage\n- High ownership orientation — someone who takes responsibility for outcomes, not just\noutputs
