Marketing & Sales Manager PAN INDIA- Grey Fabrics @ Coimbatore

CTC: Maximum gross up to 18 LPA + Incentive
Minimum 10 years experience in Knitted fabrics as a Marketing Manager
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary Objective
Drive sales growth and increase market share for the companys knitted fabric portfolio through strategic marketing, business development, and strong customer engagement.
Market Strategy & Research
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities in knitted fabrics (e.g., sustainable knits, performance fabrics, innovative textures).
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the company’s knitted fabric range.
Identify and penetrate new domestic and international markets.
Target potential buyers including garment manufacturers, fashion brands, exporters, and retailers.
Sales & Business Development
Acquire new customers and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
Lead price negotiations to achieve optimal profitability while remaining competitive.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events locally and internationally.
Drive revenue growth through strategic account management and business expansion initiatives.
Technical Fabric Expertise
Demonstrate strong knowledge of knit structures such as jersey, rib, interlock, fleece, and specialty knits.
Understand fiber compositions and blends including cotton, synthetics, and cellulosic materials.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of knitting, dyeing, finishing, and overall textile manufacturing processes.
Effectively communicate product specifications, benefits, and technical capabilities to customers.
Product Development & Merchandising Coordination
Collaborate with Design and Product Development teams to align product offerings with market demand and fashion trends.
Manage the merchandising cycle including sample development, costing, pricing, and product selection.
Propose new fabric developments and product alternatives based on market feedback and customer requirements.
Support timely product launches and ensure market competitiveness.
Supply Chain & Operations Coordination
Coordinate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure order execution, quality compliance, and on-time delivery.
Act as the primary interface between buyers and internal factory teams.
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and operational challenges including cancellations, supply constraints, and logistics issues.
Qualifications & Skills
MBA/Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology .
5–10 years of experience in knitted fabrics.
Strong technical knowledge of knit fabrics, processes, and quality standards.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management
