LC Waikiki’s journey started in France in 1988, continuing after 1997 as a Turkish brand under the umbrella of LC Waikiki Mağazacılık Hizmetleri Ticaret A.Ş.\n\nToday, LC Waikiki trades with more than 1300 stores in 60 countries, with the company’s philosophy that “Everyone Deserves to Dress Well” enabling people to enjoy accessible fashion through quality products at affordable prices.\nThere are around 6000 employees working at LC Waikiki’s corporate office, more than 50,000 people in Turkey and abroad.\n\nAt LC Waikiki, our values are being virtuous, achieving together, extensive expertise, being customer-oriented, challenging the difficulties.\n\nPosition Overview\nLead customs compliance, high-volume apparel warehouse distribution, and inbound supply chain workflows in Tirupur to meet fast-fashion retail demands.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nIndia Customs & Regulatory Compliance\nOversee end-to-end import clearance via ICEGATE (India Customs Electronic Data Interchange Gateway), coordinating closely with regional Custom House Agents (CHAs) and port authorities.\nEnsure strict adherence to India Customs Regulations, DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) policies, and BIS standards for garments and textiles.\nVerify and file Bills of Entry, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.\nManage Bonded Warehouse formalities to minimize port demurrage and shipping container detention charges at local entry points.\nRetail Warehouse & Inventory Management\nManage daily inbound warehouse operations including high-volume garment receiving, unloading, sorting, and storage.\nPartner with local Third-Party Logistics (3PL) facilities to align warehouse capacity with seasonal launch timelines.\nResolve immediate floor discrepancies including shipment shortages, transit cargo damages, and delivery variances.\nStreamline systematic inventory mapping to optimize warehouse space utilization for rapid store replenishment cycles.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nCollaborate with global supply teams at the Turkey Head Office, overseas freight forwarders, and depot authorities.\nPartner internally with India Buying, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Finance, and local IT teams.\nTrack monthly performance scorecards evaluating the efficiency of customs clearance vendors and suppliers.\nSystem Tracking & Performance Management\nTrack end-to-end inbound shipment status using enterprise WMS and Microsoft Dynamics 365.\nUpdate departmental and team KPIs systematically to maintain operational transparency.\nPrepare regular executive reports detailing warehouse utilization, customs clearance timelines, and logistics spend.\nTeam Leadership & Safety\nDirect, mentor, and evaluate a team of warehouse shift leads, logistics assistants, and operations staff.\nHost ongoing safety training programs and uphold rigid warehouse compliance protocols.\nSkills & Competencies\nCustoms Expertise : Deep knowledge of India import duty structures, HS Code classifications, and port workflows.\nTech Literacy : Hands-on proficiency with specialized Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office.\nFast-Fashion Agility : Capacity to manage high-turnover apparel logistics under tight product launch deadlines.\nLeadership : Strong cross-functional communication, vendor management, and crisis-resolution skills.\nEducation & Experience Requirements\nEducation : Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, or International Trade.\nExperience : Minimum 7-10 years in Commercial Logistics, Supply Chain, and Inbound Retail Warehouse Operations.
