Minimum Education Qualification: B.Tech /BE/MTech in Environmental Engineering\nMinimum Relevant Experience (in Years): 8 years to 10 years\nSHOULD HAVE WILLINGNESS TO WORK IN SHIFTS\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nPurpose:\nTo develop, implement and maintain environmentally responsible business practices.\nTo lead the Implementation of Corporate Environment & Sustainability Protocols across the organization.\nTo ensure strict adherence to environmental standards and nurture a ubiquitous culture of sustainability.\nTo ensure the seamless integration of sustainable practices into the organizational framework.\nTo conceptualize, plan, co-ordinate, develop and deploy Environmental Best Practices across the organization.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate skills and competencies to work and deliver as a Process Expert with Deep Domain Knowledge in areas of Wastewater Treatment\n\nResource Circulation:\nDrive the implementation of Net Zero Water, Water Neutrality, Water Conservation and Water Efficiency initiatives at site.\nDesign, Operate and Maintain Water and Wastewater systems based on the concept of 4R. Evaluate and monitor performance of Zero Liquid Discharge Systems.\nDerive, set, monitor, analyse and evolve processes and systems for effective operations and act as a Subject Matter Expert in ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operations of all Wastewater Treatment Plants.\nPrepare and evaluate Water, Wastewater, Flow/TDS Balance for all sites and report deviations from set internal standards and targets on daily basis.\nTo set daily operational parameters (stricter than PCB norms) for treatment plants such as STP/ETP/ZLD and ensure adherence to the set internal parameters.\nDevelop benchmarks, continually strive to set sustainability targets aimed at operational excellence and sustainability.\nImplement Best Practices in Wastewater treatment, Recycle and Reuse.\nEnsure state of the art management systems and practices are implemented and sustained at all times.\nTo closely co-ordinate with Facilities and Projects team and ensure seamless co-ordination in maintenance (predictive, preventive and breakdown).\nEnsure all time availability of all pollution control treatment plants and ensure operational efficacy in treatment.\nProactively identify and predict operational and maintenance issues in advance and develop preventive action plans to ensure 100% operational availability of all treatment systems.\nPrepare daily reports and ensure all gap areas are closed within stipulated time frames.\nPrepare shift roster and ensure safety and sustainability adherence by all STP operators at all times.\nDrive the concept of circular economy within Tata Electronics, with emphasis on Water and Waste; This will entail developing common framework, metrics, and guidance around water and Waste stewardship.\nIdentify and promote avenues for rainwater collection and utilization. Implement a systematic approach to identify, control, and reduce wastewater produced through operations.
Conduct routine monitoring of overall water performance, including water intake and performance of wastewater treatment systems.\nTo plan and develop Waste Segregation Policy and ensure deployment at manufacturing sites (company level).\nImplement a systematic approach to identify, manage, reduce, responsibly control disposal, and minimize waste to landfills from operations.\nTo develop and implement Hazardous and Other Waste Management Policies and Procedures and ensure implementation at site\n\nManagement Systems:\nTo ensure systems, Procedures and documentation at site with a specified focus on Risk Based Thinking.\nTo conduct internal & cross factory audits.\nTo ensure co-ordination with Third Party and internal teams in planning, organizing, execution and successful completion of Certification and Surveillance audits\nTo ensure closure of all findings and Horizontal Deployment.\nTo ensure Continual Improvement through Environment Management Programmes.\nDevelop and execute plans for management system implementation at Supplier sites\nCorporate Sustainability (GHG, Water, Waste Reporting):\nEnsure that targets set by individual stakeholders are in alignment with the Net Zero targets of the organization.\nIdentify, compile, monitor, review, implement and ensure effectiveness of decarbonization measures taken in the organization.\nMonitor and report GHG, Water, Waste Management and other sustainability related data to all relevant stakeholders.\nRegularly quantify, set targets, monitor progress, and drive initiatives to reduce consumption of energy, fossil fuel, Water, Waste, Hazardous Substances, and natural resources through conservation, re-use, recycling, substitution, or other measures.\n\nEssential Attributes:\nA strong team player with a sense of unified commitment, shared responsibility and trust in the team.\nProblem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills.\nA strong ability to deal with ambiguity and a faced paced work environment.\nStrong analytical and trouble shooting skills.\n\nCertifications :\nEMPRI Certified STP Operator and In-charge course certification or equivalent\nEnvironment Management\nEnvironmental Law\nCertified Green Factory Practitioner
