Admissions Counsellor & Library Coordinator\n\nLocation : Fostree International School, Nellore\n\nAbout the Role\nFostree International School is looking for a warm, articulate, and highly organised individual to join our team as an Admissions Counsellor & Library Coordinator.\n\nIn the initial phase, the primary focus of this role will be admissions and parent engagement helping families understand the vision, philosophy, and learning approach of Fostree while guiding them through the admissions process.\n\nAs the school begins operations, the role will gradually expand into managing and nurturing the school library and learning commons, helping build a culture of reading, curiosity, inquiry, and student engagement within the school community.\n\nThis is a dynamic role suited for someone who enjoys communication, organisation, working with children and families, and growing within an evolving educational environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAdmissions & Parent Engagement\nHandle admissions enquiries and parent communication professionally\nConduct campus tours and explain the school’s philosophy, curriculum, and learning environment\nGuide families through the admissions and onboarding process\nFollow up with prospective parents through calls, WhatsApp, email, and meetings\nMaintain admissions records, databases, and documentation\nCoordinate orientations, admissions events, and parent interactions\nBuild strong relationships with prospective and existing families\n\nLibrary & Student Engagement\nAs school operations begin, responsibilities will expand to include:\nManaging the school library and learning resources\nOrganising books, reading spaces, and student borrowing systems\nSupporting reading programmes and storytelling sessions\nEncouraging reading habits and independent exploration among students\nCoordinating library activities, book displays, and literacy initiatives\nAssisting teachers and students with learning resources and inquiry materials\n\nWho we are looking for?\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nProfessional, approachable, and organised personality\nStrong coordination and multitasking ability\nComfortable interacting with parents, students, and staff\nPassion for reading, learning spaces, and student engagement\nAbility to adapt and grow within a fast-evolving school environment\nComfortable using spreadsheets, email, and basic digital tools\nKnowledge or understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is preferred
