Coordinates and takes the lead role for the technical/functional development and support of IT applications in his/her area of responsibility. Coordinates development aspects including reports, interfaces, conversion programs, database design and creation, enhancements. May also include SAP Portal development, ABAP, SAP UI5/Fiori, and JAVA web-Dynpro.

Provides accurate estimates based on design documents, including data mapping, and interface models.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nCollaborates closely with the business to understand business requirements.\nPerforms planning, analysis, designing, requirements definition, functional design, development, testing and implementation of IT solutions.\nProvides support for difficult and complex system environments.\nProvides support, assistance, and training to users.\nDrives small to medium sized projects with planning, development, and implementation of system solutions.\nSimultaneously coordinates activities for multiple projects and activities.\nEffectively uses ITIL methodology in performing all tasks.\nMeets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.\nEnsures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.\nReviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.\nCreates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to application developers.\nCoordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.\nconducts research on software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor.\n\nSUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nOn-call responsibilities\n\nQualifications\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nBA/BS in Information Technology or Computer Science or the equivalent of 8 years professional experience in IT Applications development and support.\nExperience with SAP ABAP Language Development\nExperience within a manufacturing/distribution environment in an IT development capacity\nFamiliar with a variety of sales methodologies, tools, and frameworks from multiple industries / businesses.\nMinimum 8 years’ experience in planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, documenting and training of IT applications.\nMinimum 6 years’ experience in SAP support.\nMinimum 6 years’ experience working in a customer service orientated environment.\nMinimum 6 years’ experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.\nMaximum 8 years of OO ABAP, ALV Reports, SAP Data Dictionary, BADI & BAPIS, Workflows. Module Pool Programming (Dialogue Programming). Enhancements (Implicit & Explicit) Exits (User Exit, Customer Exit, Screen Exit) development experience in a complex landscape\nMaximum 8 years of development experience of ABAP RICEF objects\nMinimum 2 years of development experience in S/4 HANA\nStrong knowledge and working experience AMDP, CDS, BRF, BOPF, oDATA and HANA proxy objects Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 is advantageous.\nHigh energy, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills\nAbility to work with diverse remote teams, managing through a matrix structure, and will require strong analytical skills, process & project management, combined with well-developed team leadership and influencing skills.\nAgile methodology experience preferred\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, including preparation and delivery of executive-level presentations\nProven analytical, problem-solving and process management skills\nDemonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo and drive constant improvement in process and ability to achieve organizational goals\n\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to travel up to 10%; may include international travel\n\nIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
