Marketing & Sales Specialist – Flexible Packaging Industry\nLocation: Chennai\nCompany: RKN Flexibles Pvt Ltd\n\nAbout the Role\nRKN is looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Marketing & Sales Specialist to support business development, customer relationship management, sales coordination, and marketing activities.\nThis position is particularly suited for candidates with prior experience in laminates, pouches, printed films, packaging materials, or related packaging solutions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.\nGenerate new business opportunities through customer visits, calls, emails, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn.\nHandle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order conversion.\nCoordinate with production, planning, dispatch, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.\nUnderstand customer packaging requirements and provide appropriate product solutions.\nMaintain enquiry trackers, customer databases, and sales reports.\nGather market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback.\nSupport branding, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.\nMandatory Requirements\nBachelor's Degree in any discipline.\nExperience in sales, marketing, customer relationship management, or business development.\nGood understanding of flexible packaging products such as:\nPrinted Laminates\nMulti-layer Films\nPouches\nRoll Forms\nFood Packaging Materials\nIndustrial Packaging Solutions\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.\nLanguage Requirements\nFluent spoken English\nFluent spoken Tamil\nFluent spoken Hindi (Mandatory)\nPreferred Skills\nStrong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.\nExcellent follow-up and negotiation abilities.\nProficiency in MS Excel, Email, WhatsApp, and CRM tools.\nAbility to work independently and achieve sales targets.\nExperience handling key accounts and industrial customers will be an added advantage.\nPreferred Candidate Profile\nCandidates from the following industries will be given preference:\nFlexible Packaging\nPrinted Packaging\nPackaging Converting\nLabels & Stickers\nFood Packaging\nFMCG Packaging Solutions\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive salary based on experience.\nPerformance-based incentives.\nCareer growth opportunities within a growing manufacturing organization.
