Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager – Human Resources\n\nLocation: Hyderabad\nFunction: Human Resources\nReporting To: Head – HR\n\nJob Summary\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – HR to support and manage end-to-end HR operations for our Hyderabad delivery center. The role will primarily focus on HR operations, employee relations, local administration, HR policy implementation, and recruitment support in a fast-paced IT services and consulting environment. The incumbent will work closely with delivery leaders, project managers, and employees to ensure smooth HR functioning and an engaged workforce.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nHR Operations (IT Services Environment) (40%)\n\nHandle end-to-end employee lifecycle management including onboarding, background verification coordination, confirmation, role changes, and exits.\nMaintain accurate employee records in HRMS and ensure data integrity.\nCoordinate payroll inputs, attendance tracking, leave management, and shift-related HR support.\nSupport internal and external audits and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labor laws).\nEnsure compliance with client-specific HR and security requirements where applicable.\n\nEmployee Relations & Engagement (20%)\n\nAct as a trusted HR partner for employees and managers at the Hyderabad location.\nManage employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution professionally.\nSupport employee engagement initiatives, town halls, communication programs, and HR connect.\nDrive policy awareness and ensure consistent application across teams.\n\nRecruitment & Talent Support (10%)\n\nManage end-to-end recruitment for technology and support roles as assigned.\nPartner with hiring managers and delivery leaders for workforce planning and hiring needs.\nCoordinate sourcing, interviews, offers, joining, and onboarding.\nSupport lateral hiring, volume hiring, and project-based staffing as required.\nAssist in improving candidate experience and employer branding initiatives.\n\nHR Policy & Process Implementation (15%)\n\nImplement HR policies, SOPs, and process frameworks aligned with IT services delivery models.\nSupport policy updates related to hybrid work, shifts, client expectations, and project delivery.\nEnsure adherence to company policies and local laws.\n\nLocal Administration (Hyderabad Office) (15%)\n\nManage day-to-day office administration including facilities, security, transportation, housekeeping, and vendor management.\nCoordinate with admin and IT teams to support office infrastructure and employee requirements.\nEnsure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.\n\nSkills & Competencies\n\nStrong understanding of HR operations in the IT services/consulting industry.\nGood working knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliances.\nAbility to handle sensitive employee issues with confidentiality and maturity.\nHands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a dynamic, delivery-driven environment.\nProficiency in MS Office, HRMS tools, and basic reporting.\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\nMBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.\n5–8 years of HR experience with a strong focus on HR operations and employee relations.\nPrior experience in the IT services or consulting industry is strongly preferred.\nExperience working in a multi-project or matrix organization is an advantage.
