We are expanding our product design team and are looking for a Product Designer focused only on mobile app design.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Product Designer to own and shape the BabyBillion Android app experience. This role is execution-heavy and ownership-driven.
You will design real product flows used by real users at massive scale.
This is not a graphic design role. This is not marketing design. This is core product UX + UI for a live Android app.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Own end-to-end design for key flows in the BabyBillion Android app
- Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI from problem statement to ship-ready screen
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to translate requirements into usable, scalable design
- Improve onboarding, content discovery, watch experience, and engagement loop
- Apply mobile-first UX principles for kids and parent
- Build and maintain a strong design system with reusable component
- Drive design decisions using feedback, analytics, and usability insight
- Ensure designs are scalable, intuitive, and frictionless
What We Are Looking
- For Experience: 2–6 years in product or UI/UX design, with at least 2 years on consumer mobile apps
- Platform Focus: Strong understanding of Android app desi
- Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma is mandatory
- UX Fundamentals: Strong grasp of layout, hierarchy, spacing, typography, and interaction design
- Ownership: Can take a problem from brief to shipped design with minimal hand-holding
- Execution Mindset: Ability to ship designs fast and improve iterative
- Communication: Can explain design decisions clearly to PMs, engineers, and founder
- Portfolio: Must include shipped Android app screens or flows. Web-only portfolios will not be considered.
Bonus
- Skills & Experience designing for consumer apps, kids apps, or content platforms.
- Familiarity with Material Design guidelines
- Strong understanding of product metrics like retention, drop-offs, and funnels
- Experience running usability tests and building or scaling design system
