R&D Data Scientist:\n\nWe are looking for a passionate Data Scientist with 6–7 years of experience to join our global R&D team.\n\nKey Requirements:\nStrong expertise in data analysis, predictive modeling, and statistical techniques, Data Science, scripting using different data tools, DOE, creation of predictive models.\nHands-on experience with data visualization of complex data and digital tools\nAbility to work on end-to-end data pipelines, exploratory analysis, and model building\nStrong programming/scripting skills (Python/R or similar)\nExcellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams\n\nResponsibilities\nCarries out activities within their area of expertise of data and digital tools.\nContributes to R&D projects by implementing their technical and cross-functional skills.\nPerform statistical and data analyses to support lab teams: method validations, design of experiments, interactive data visualizations, statistical interpretation of results.\nApply data science analyses on specific R&D project datasets: dataset preparation and quality checks ; data visualization ; unsupervised exploratory analysis ; predictive model building.\nCommunicate results and findings to multidisciplinary R&D project teams and discuss next steps. Write reports on work performed ; document software code.\nHold the role of “data steward”: help teams apply our entity’s Data Governance, apply and teach recommended data management practices.\nIn close association with our entity’s data engineers, monitor and develop labs data management infrastructure: automated instrument data capture flows, data visualization services.\nCoordinates all stakeholders involved in their study.\nReports research results in writing and/or through internal/external presentations\nProposes new data tools.\nActively contributes to the exchange of ideas.\n\nPurpose:\nConduct the Project's R&D activities in accordance with the multi-year program defined and approved by the project manager and program manager.\nCarry out the various actions under their responsibility.\nContribute to resolving standard problems in accordance with the R&D project objectives and to the transfer of knowledge to the Researchers.\nActively contribute to the technical development of their field, relying on proven and innovative methods and their technical expertise.\nShare their technical skills to advance their team and the R&D projects they contribute to.\nAdapt their skill level understanding the needs.\n\nSoft Skills Required:\nAutonomous, Creative, Open-minded, Strong interpersonal skills, Excellent communication skills, Strong analytical skills, Ability to work in a team,\nAbility to understand the challenges, contexts, and stakeholders in different application areas, Ability to transfer knowledge and make expertise accessible.\n\nQualifications:\nChemistry knowledge\n8+ year of experience in Data science and engineering\nEnglish level 3
