Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project execution to achieve targets as per the finalized schedule.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, with zero defects, and within budget.
  • Support process owners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and clear communication.
  • Coordinate with the Purchase Department for vendor development and inspection, placing orders efficiently to prevent excess inventory.
  • Review project execution status with process owners, document challenges, and report to Execution Heads.
  • Assess resource requirements and coordinate with Execution Heads and HR for necessary actions.
  • Identify and implement training needs for the project team in collaboration with HR.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals for team members and coordinate with HR on development actions.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to warranty and post-warranty issues.
  • Ensure standardization in logic programming across projects.
  • Oversee daily work reports submitted by the project team, addressing challenges as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Engineering graduate (Bachelor’s degree in relevant field).
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in automation or industrial solutions.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience with drives (e.g., Servo, VFDs, PowerFlex, Sinamics).
  • Experience in rubber industry, mixing solutions and material handling solutions will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Visio) and software.
  • Familiarity with connectivity software (OPC, Kepware).
  • Knowledge of Rockwell/Siemens hot redundancy (hot backup) systems, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet, Profinet.
  • In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Vendor management and procurement process experience.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges.
