Role: Team Lead, Implementation, Global Transaction Services
Location: Mumbai
Business Function: Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services.
Job Purpose:
The role of the Implementation Lead is to implement cash management, trade and SFS solutions for mandates, in addition to managerial responsibilities of the India Implementation Team. The candidate would drive integration of Digital channels (RAPID, IDEAL, MAX, CONNECT, SWIFT) with client ERP systems. In addition, department and organisation level projects would also be handled
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage Implementation Team and also perform individual mandates for large relationships.
- Represent India Implementation in Group and perform productivity analysis, TAT reduction via manhours, enhance coverage, innovate digital solutions, provide advisory to clients and internal sales to win more mandates.
- Perform revenue realisation analysis for the mandates implemented. Circulate relevant usage, revenue MIS to all stakeholders.
- Support integration of digital solutions with client ERP systems to ensure Straight through processing. Client training and system trouble shooting is an integral part of the role. Evaluate and develop suitable vendors for technology - and client - support, as relevant, based on business growth and requirements
- Establish profile of the Bank as a Cash/Trade/SFS services provider in India. Undertake frequent competitor analysis and share with Senior Business Development Manager/Product Team to enable DBS Cash Management offerings being in line with competing banks. Also identify local promotional activities and share the same with Senior Business Development Manager which will help positively reinforce DBS, as a brand.
- Implement cash, trade, SFS management solutions (Payments, Receivables, Liquidity, Trade, SFS) for mandates through a structured implementation approach. Monitor and improve turn-around times for clients to go-live on won mandates.
Required Experience:
- Good understanding of the Implementation process through preferably prior project management / electronic banking experience of more than 5/6 years.
- Market knowledge and experience of Cash & Trade, with reference to customer preferences and requirement would be preferable
Education / Preferred Qualifications:
A graduate/MBA, with relevant number of years of experience as stated above

- Good planning & organising skills. Planning, scheduling and monitoring deliverables, within a stipulated time frame using effective methods
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.

- Establish rapport with our clients so as to win their business, confidence Possess good working relationship and a high degree of team spirit and cooperation with service partners in the bank such as Technology, Operations, GTS - Singapore etc. as well as relationship groups, viz., FIG, EBG and IBG so as to ensure seamless delivery of products to our clients and business growth and smooth functioning of the branch as a whole.
