Fleet IT Executive

Position Description:\n\nThe Fleet IT Executive will be the main point of contact for all Fleet IT operations, providing daily support for Fleet IT hardware, software, network and access issues.\n\nThe role is responsible for managing IT incidents, including escalation when needed and ensuring all tickets are tracked and resolved on time in line with KPIs and service levels. Regular KPI updates to be provided to management, along with analysis of issues to support continuous improvement.\n\nThe Fleet IT Executive will also support the Fleet Operations Team in IT audits, class surveys and internal reviews, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nAct as the primary IT focal point for Fleet IT matters.\nProvide daily IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network and access issues.\nEscalate unresolved IT issues and track to resolution.\nEnsure all IT practices comply with corporate IT policies, cybersecurity, and data\ngovernance requirements.\nSupport Fleet IT audits, compliance checks and internal reviews.\nMonitor and track all IT incidents, requests, and service issues.\nProvide periodic IT status updates to Fleet Team and management.\nEnsure timely prioritization, follow-up, and closure of IT tickets.\nAnalyse trending issues to identify improvement opportunities.\nPerform other duties as assigned by Deputy General Manager and Fleet Manager.\n\nRequirements:\n2 year of experience in IT support or technical support.\nProficient in resolving daily hardware, software, and network issues.\nStrong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.\nCapable of working efficiently under pressure.\nMaritime IT / offshore experience preferred\nCCNA / CCNP\nMicrosoft / Azure\nStrong knowledge of:\nVSAT / satcom systems\nFirewall & VPN / Networking\nMicrosoft 365 / Azure\nEndpoint security\n\nAdditional Desired Qualifications:\nAble to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent attention to detail\nExperience in cybersecurity policy and incident response\nDemonstrates strong teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.\n\nJob Demands and/or Physical Requirements:\nAble to lift computers and have sufficient mobility to complete cabling and setup tasks.\nSome extra hours required\nOccasion travel to visit vessels
