IT Support Specialist

Job Title: IT Support Specialist\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nMonitor, maintain, and optimize computer systems, applications, and network environments to ensure high availability and performance.\nProactively identify, prioritize, escalate, and resolve critical and high-impact support tickets.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.\nCoordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.\nProvide timely, high-quality technical support and guidance to end users.\nDocument incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve team efficiency.\nEnsure adherence to IT support policies, SLAs, and best practices.\nContinuously update technical knowledge to stay aligned with evolving systems and tools.\n\nRequired Skills:\nSolid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (preferably Python).\nStrong proficiency in Linux commands and SQL/NoSQL queries.\nHands-on experience with Linux services and web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache).\nProven experience troubleshooting complex issues on Linux and Windows operating systems.\nGood working knowledge of Ubuntu OS administration.\nStrong analytical, communication, and customer-handling skills.\nMinimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with AWS or other cloud platforms.\nExposure to automation/scripting for support tasks.\n\nAbout the Company\nAt Roanuz, we build products and applications using practical artificial intelligence.
