Crewing Executive (Based In Pune)

Ensure efficient crew planning, recruitment, and deployment for our fleet of vessels.\nOversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the crewing department.\nCollaborate with ship owners, managers, and other stakeholders to meet crewing requirements.\nImplement and maintain crewing policies and procedures in compliance with maritime regulations.\nPlanning and managing crew schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, and ensuring efficient deployment and mobilization of crew members.\nMonitoring the well-being of crew members, addressing their needs, and ensuring they have access to necessary support.\nMaintaining regular and open communication with crew members, vessel masters, and other relevant parties, preparing reports on crew-related matters and and addressing their concerns.\nAssist in addressing issues and resolving disputes related to crew members, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining positive relationships.\nMaintaining good relationships with crew agencies, charterers, and other stakeholders.\nAssist in travel arrangement of the mobilization and de-mobilization of the crewing staff, including Air Tickets, hotel accommodation, etc.\nEnsure candidates are equipped with the relevant requirements (medical, competence certificate / qualification documents).\nAssist in preparing crewing budget (new take over vessels) and follow up and crewing related matters\nMaintain a proper and user-friendly filing and document control system for recording and tracking of all documents for the team and department.\nPreparing crew payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment.\nSourcing and recruiting qualified crew members, managing the selection process, and ensuring the appropriate documentation and qualifications are in place.\nAssist in addressing issues and resolving\n\nRequirements:\n\nMinimum Degree holder in any discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role preferably in the Maritime industry.\nBachelor's degree in Maritime Studie or related field is an added advantage.\nStrong knowledge of international maritime regulations and standards\nProficiency in crewing management software Shipmate, is an added advantage.\nProactive, take initiative and well organized.\nAbility to multi-task and work independently.
