AFT Test Lead

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) Lead to drive test automation initiatives across the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow ATF, ITSM processes, test strategy, automation framework design, and team leadership. The role involves leading end-to-end testing activities, improving release quality, and ensuring platform stability through automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ServiceNow ATF test suites.
• Define and implement test automation strategies for ServiceNow applications and platform upgrades.
• Create reusable ATF test cases for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and custom applications.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Establish testing standards, best practices, and governance for ServiceNow projects.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and coordinate defect resolution.
• Support ServiceNow upgrade testing and release validation activities.
• Mentor and guide ATF testers and junior QA team members.
• Track testing metrics and provide status reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of QA/Test Automation experience with 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow ATF experience.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and development lifecycle.
• Experience testing ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Hands-on experience with Service Portal and Employee Center testing.
• Knowledge of Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Workflows, and Catalog Items.
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and regression testing.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM (Preferred).
• ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) experience/certification preferred.
• Experience with Selenium, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other test management tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated release validation.
