OT Security Engineer Intern
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
About the Role
Cyberintelsys is seeking a motivated OT Security Engineer Intern to support cybersecurity activities across Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA environments, and Operational Technology (OT) networks. The intern will work closely with experienced cybersecurity professionals and gain hands-on exposure to OT security assessments, vulnerability management, industrial network security, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in OT/ICS security assessments and security reviews.
- Support vulnerability assessments and security testing of industrial systems.
- Analyze OT network architectures and identify security risks.
- Assist in asset inventory and OT security documentation activities.
- Review industrial communication protocols and network traffic.
- Assist in developing security recommendations and remediation plans.
- Participate in OT cybersecurity projects aligned with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and industry best practices.
- Prepare technical reports, findings, and assessment documentation.
Qualifications
Candidates who have completed B.E./B.Tech are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Educational Background
- Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (E&I/EIE)
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering (ICE)
Preferred Knowledge
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals
- Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
- SCADA, PLC, and DCS Environments
- Industrial Networking Concepts
- Network Security Fundamentals
- Industrial Automation and Control Systems
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to any of the following through coursework, projects, self-learning, training programs, or certifications will be considered an added advantage:
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CompTIA Security+
- ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
- Equivalent cybersecurity certifications or training
