Job Description
Students must learn how intelligent systems work in order to restore them.\n\nIn Grades 1–3, students learn foundational CS through an AI lens: what does it mean for a machine to 'think'? What is the difference between a rule-based system and a learning system? What is automation, and why does it fail?
By Grades 4–6, students build real ML-adjacent projects using tools like Teachable Machine, ML5.js, and Python. Grades 7–12 advance to supervised learning, neural networks, and responsible AI practice.\n\nWho We Are Looking For\n\nEssential Qualifications\n%B8; Degree or demonstrable professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field\n%B8; Working knowledge of machine learning fundamentals — you understand the difference between supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and rule-based AI, and can explain each to a non-specialist\n%B8; Python proficiency at minimum: you can write, read, and debug Python code. Experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is strongly preferred\n%B8; Experience teaching or working with children and young people.
This role begins with 6-year-olds. The question 'what does it mean for a machine to think?' must be answerable to a child\n%B8; Comfort with ethical complexity: the Mindspire track addresses AI ethics from Grade 1.
