Job Title: Junior Draftsperson – Architectural and Interior Design (GFC & Technical Drawings)

Location: Dwarka, New Delhi (On-site, 6 days a week)

Experience Required: 2–3 years in drafting in Interior & Architectural Projects

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our studio. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in preparing high-quality GFC (Good For Construction) drawings, joinery details, ceiling layouts, and interior working drawings for ultra-high-end hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drawings & Documentation

• Visit sites for measurements
• Prepare detailed GFC drawings, floor plans, electrical/lighting layouts, HVAC coordination, RCPs, furniture layouts, joinery and millwork drawings.
• Convert conceptual designs and sketches from the Principal/Senior Designers into precise technical drawings.
• Prepare detailed wall elevations, ceiling sections, ceiling mouldings, wall panelling details, and site-specific design solutions.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and buildability in all drawing sets.
• Create and manage drawing sets, revisions, layer management, proper line weights, title blocks, legends, and sheet formatting as per studio standards.
• Work closely with the design team to provide technical inputs and resolve on-site discrepancies.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Drafting, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in drafting for high-end hospitality/residential/commercial interiors.
• Strong command of AutoCAD is mandatory. Knowledge of Photoshop, SketchUp or Revit is a plus.
• Strong understanding of materials, joinery, construction details, and interior construction standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Ability to interpret design intent clearly and convert it into technically feasible drawings.
• Organised, disciplined, and capable of multitasking across multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills to be able to coordinate and liaise with other involved agencies.
