Role -\nThe General Manager - Fund Accounting will oversee a range of products including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives and NAV, ensuring compliance with SLA, custodian & accounting standards. The role requires a strong background in Fund Accounting, NAV Calculations, Hedge Funds and Private Equity with a focus on managing teams responsible for these functions.\nProven experience in managing a team of at least 80-120 professionals.\n\nJob Description -\nManage and lead a team of Fund Accountants responsible for NAV calculations, reconciliations, and reporting for a diverse range of investment products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Hedge Funds.\nEnsure accurate and timely calculation of Net Asset Values (NAVs) for assigned funds, adhering to established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.\nOversee the preparation and review of financial statements, investor reports, and other fund-related documentation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Operations, to resolve complex accounting issues and ensure smooth fund operations.\nDevelop and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.\nManage and mentor team members, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and knowledgeable team.\nLiaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.\nParticipate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required, contributing expertise and leadership to support the organization's goals.\n\nCriteria -\nAny Graduation or Postgraduation.\nOverall, 15-17years with minimum 10+ years of experience in Fund Accounting & NAV calculations\nStrong leadership and team management skills\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExperience with automation technologies like RPA\nKnowledge of AI technologies and their applications
