Housekeeping Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping operations at Stillwood Retreat, Coorg. The role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort across all villas, public areas, dining venues, and wellness facilities. Working closely with the resort leadership team, the Housekeeping Manager will oversee housekeeping operations, inventory management, quality assurance, and team development to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all housekeeping operations across villas, public areas, dining venues, spa facilities, and back-of-house areas.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and guest comfort throughout the resort.
  • Implement and maintain luxury housekeeping standards, including room preparation, turndown services, and special guest requests.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Manage linen, uniforms, guest supplies, and housekeeping inventories while maintaining cost control measures.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping schedules, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service standards.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager within a luxury resort or 5-star hospitality environment.
  • Proven experience leading housekeeping operations in nature-based, remote, or destination resort settings.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop high-performing housekeeping teams.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, inventory management, and cost-control practices.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Guest-focused with a passion for delivering memorable hospitality experiences.
