Sales Manager / Sales Engineer
LV Switchgear | B2B Sales
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales professional with a strong background in Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing B2B sales across diverse customer segments including OEMs, panel builders, government end users, and residential end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive B2B sales of LV Switchgear products across assigned territories and customer segments.
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with OEMs, panel builders, government end users, and residential end users.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, logistics, and after-sales) to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to provide strategic inputs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales pipeline, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to strengthen market presence.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in B2B sales, with mandatory experience in LV Switchgear sales.
- Demonstrated experience working with OEMs, panel builders, government end users, and residential end users.
- Strong understanding of LV Switchgear products (MCCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, Power Quality Solutions etc.).
- Proven ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships and close high-value deals.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM software is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
- MBA in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
