Governance, Compliance & Quality Assurance\nEnsure effective academic and administrative governance through statutory bodies such as the Board of Governors, Academic Council, and Executive Council.\nMaintain full compliance with UGC and other applicable regulatory authorities, including accreditation frameworks (NAAC/NBA).\nOversee transparent, ethical, and robust academic and examination systems, safeguarding institutional integrity.\n3. Digital Transformation & Systems Modernization\nChampion university-wide digital transformation across academics, examinations, records, and administration.\nEnable secure, tamper-proof digital credentials, including degrees, certificates, transcripts, and skill records aligned with NAD and ABC frameworks.\nPromote data-driven decision-making and institutional performance monitoring.\n4. Stakeholder Engagement & External Relations\nAct as the primary representative of the university with regulators, government bodies, industry partners, international institutions, alumni, and the public.\nStrengthen industry partnerships to enhance employability, research relevance, and skill-based education.\nBuild a strong institutional brand and reputation at national and global levels.\n5.
People Leadership & Institutional Development\nAttract, mentor, and retain high-quality faculty and senior leadership talent.\nPromote a culture of academic freedom, innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.\nOversee leadership development, succession planning, and capacity building across the university.\n6. Financial & Resource Oversight\nWork with the governing board to ensure financial sustainability, resource optimization, and strategic investments.\nSupport fundraising, grants, partnerships, and revenue diversification initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nDistinguished academic credentials with a PhD and a strong record of scholarship, research, or academic leadership.\nMinimum 10–15 years of senior leadership experience as a Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean, Director, or equivalent role in a university or reputed higher education institution.\nDeep understanding of Indian higher education regulations, governance structures, and NEP 2020 implementation.\nProven experience in institutional leadership, accreditation, regulatory engagement, and large-scale academic administration.\nStrong leadership presence with excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nBenefits and Application\nCompetitive executive compensation commensurate with experience.\nStrategic leadership role with high institutional impact.\nRelocation support and executive benefits, as applicable.
