Associate – Finance & Accounts - Bengaluru\n\nJob Summary:\nOur client is a leading PE firm, looking to hire qualified Chartered Accountants with 0-2 years of experience post-qualification for the role of Associate (Finance and Accounts) for its Bangalore office (Finance Team). The role involves working closely with internal teams and fund administrators on investor reporting, capital activities, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards.\n\nAbout the Company:\nThe company is a leading PE firm, providing equity financing for fast-growing, small to medium sized companies led by strong entrepreneurs and management teams in India. The company focuses on investments in the sectors of financial services, food and agriculture, and infrastructure ancillaries, with the objective of earning superior long-term returns that will benefit from the rapid growth of the Indian economy.\n\nLocation: Indiranagar, Bangalore\n\nRoles and Responsibilities of the selected candidate:\nAccounting of funds and the investment manager.

The candidate should be conversant with the accounting standards, India GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.\nPrepare monthly accounts of the manager.\nAssist in the preparation of the monthly cash flow budget vs. actual comparison.\nEnsure timely payment of tax (direct and indirect) and timely filing of tax returns (quarterly and annual) of all funds and the investment manager.\nEnsure bi-monthly reimbursement of expenses and quarterly collection of management fees from funds to the investment manager.\nCoordinate with administrators of funds (offshore and onshore) regularly for fund-related activities.\nPrepare capital call workings and distribution workings and investor communication documents for capital call and distribution.\nPrepare unit capital statements, tax estimates, and capital account summaries of the funds' investors on a quarterly basis.\nPrepare annual capital account statements and provide information for K-1s annually\nWork with the members of the investment team and the marketing team for quarterly/periodic investor reports for all funds.\nWork with different teams to provide assistance with data compilation for fundraising.\nAssist in quarterly valuations of portfolio companies and provide valuation back-ups for audit.\nAssist in the timely completion of the audit of all funds and the investment manager.\nAssist in the compilation of information pertaining to Fund and Investment IRRs.\nAssist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for a few specific investors about portfolio companies and their compliances.\nAssist in various regulatory compliances – SEBI quarterly reports, review of RBI monthly report, taxation, and Corporate compliances\n\nKey Requirements:\nQualified CA with 1-1.5 years of experience post-qualification.\nGood work experience during an articleship, preferably in a Big 4 or a leading consulting firm.\nExperience with PE firms is a big plus.\nPossess good communication skills.\nThe candidate should possess good knowledge of MS office.\nThe candidate should be a team player, a self-starter with hunger to grow.\n\nWork Schedule: Mon - Fri\n\nContact Details: For more details on this vacancy, contact Ayush at\n_ _ _ _ _ _\nHireGenie is a premier Finance Recruitment Consultancy, helping companies and startups find top-tier finance professionals.
