Get to know us at genpact.com and on LinkedIn X YouTube and Facebook.\nInviting applications for the role of Controllership (Payroll Level 3 & 2)- Manager/Sr. Manager\nJob Description :\nPayroll Operations Analyst: Specialized Compensation & Equity\n%CF; Equity Administration: Process and validate RSU and stock option payroll impacts, ensuring accurate supplemental withholding and seamless coordination with Equity/Stock Plan Admin and Tax teams.\n%CF; Global Mobility: Support payroll requirements for high-mobility employees, managing jurisdictional complexities, non-resident considerations, and exception handling.\n%CF; Relocation & FLSA: Manage payroll support for relocation payments and manual entries required for accurate FLSA overtime calculations.\n%CF; Clawbacks & Recoveries: Execute and reconcile manual clawback adjustments, overpayments, and recovery scenarios with rigorous audit documentation. Taxation & Wage Integrity\n%CF; FICA & Taxable Wages: Support FICA recoupment adjustments and complex taxable wage determinations (gross/subject/taxable) where specific exemptions apply.\n%CF; Wage Limit Governance: Partner with operations on wage limit cleanup scenarios resulting from manual balance edits, ensuring wage bases are accurate and reporting-compliant.\n%CF; Year-End Readiness: Provide critical support for equity and mobility-related wage reporting, including contributing to W-2C and T4 amendment workflows.\nOperational Controls & Systems\n%CF; Process Standardization: Establish repeatable controls, checklists, and decision trees (e.g., Lock/Rollback playbooks) to reduce manual errors and cycle time.\n%CF; Advanced Monitoring: Utilize retro event monitoring and control reports to maintain system health.\n%CF; Validation Frameworks: Execute wage base/wage limit validation checks and track off-cycle overlap/settlement controls to prevent payment errors.\nSr Payroll Analyst Employee Responsibilities :\nCore Payroll Execution\n%CF; Cycle Management: Execute end-to-end semi-monthly and biweekly payroll for ~11,500 employees across 45+ U.S.
states and 6 Canadian provinces.\n%CF; Process Flow: Manage all system steps including calculations, validations, prepayments, and final settlement coordination.\n%CF; Technical Troubleshooting: Triage and resolve payroll message reports, pay calc warnings, and retro errors; collaborate with HR, Time, Benefits, and Finance to implement upstream fixes.\n%CF; Data Management: Execute mass data loads and updates using HSDL, HDL, or EIB tools, managing error resolution and creating repeatable templates. Advanced Adjustments & Corrections\n%CF; Retroactive Processing: Lead retro event control activities—identifying impacts, coordinating corrections, and processing manual offsets or adjustments.\n%CF; Off-Cycle Operations: Coordinate off-cycle payrolls (ACH/Instant Pay), including rollback requirements and settlement overlap prevention.\n%CF; Post-Payroll Actions: Perform rollbacks, re-runs, and manual corrections when necessary while maintaining a rigorous audit trail.
