Job Description

Role: Presales Consultant - Pharma

Experience: 10-12 yrs

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strong experience in authoring storyline, emphasizing differentiation, value proposition for proposals related to manufacturing IT in the Pharma industry.
  • End-to-End Solutioning Capability – Ability to architect integrated IT-OT solutions spanning shopfloor to enterprise
  • Experience of executing projects across different functional areas in Production Management, Quality Management, Inventory Management, Material Management, Energy Management, Supply chain – Demand Forecasting & Planning, Traceability
  • Manufacturing Domain Depth – Hands-on knowledge of Pharma, process, and hybrid manufacturing environments with focus on productivity, quality, and compliance
  • AI / Analytics in Manufacturing – Experience embedding predictive, prescriptive, and GenAI use cases into plant operations
  • Functional expertise in LSHC domain specifically in Pharma industry.
  • Lead End to End Manufacturing IT Systems implementation & support (Due diligence, design & development, pilot, and rollout across multiple factories hypercare)
  • Awareness on SDLC, Agile and Scrum, AI adoption in delivery of Pharma projects.
  • Awareness of elements specific to project delivery in Pharma, like CSV, GMP and regulations related to AI in Pharma MFG.
  • Strong client-facing, leadership skills, and G&T mindset
  • Own end-to-end presales lifecycle including opportunity qualification, solutioning, and deal closure
  • Lead large, strategic pursuits in Connected Plant, MES/MOM, and Industry 4.0 transformation
  • Define winning solution strategies aligned to client business priorities and digital roadmap
  • Architect end-to-end Connected Plant solutions spanning IT-OT, MES, IIoT, analytics, and cloud
  • Translate manufacturing challenges into compelling solution narratives and value propositions
  • Develop differentiated proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and commercial constructs
  • Collaborate with delivery, domain SMEs, and alliances to build feasible and scalable solutions
  • Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and maturity assessments
  • Ensure alignment of proposed solutions with delivery capability, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Strategic and program leadership with sharp oral and written communication
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Cross functional stakeholder management skills
