Job Description
The Air Export Sales Coordinator – Senior Executive at JET Freight Logistics Limited supports the Air Export Sales and Business Development team in managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating with internal teams and global partners, and ensuring the seamless execution of export shipments. The role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and coordination skills within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Coordination & Business Support
- Manage Air Export inquiries and RFQs in coordination with the Sales team.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and rate comparisons for customers.
- Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, and pricing teams to secure competitive rates.
- Support the conversion of leads into confirmed export shipments.
- Maintain and update CRM records and the sales pipeline.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key interface between customers and internal departments.
- Follow up with customers regarding shipment confirmations and documentation.
- Provide timely updates on shipment schedules and status.
- Coordinate with Operations and Documentation teams to ensure smooth execution.
Operational & Pricing Coordination
- Liaise with Pricing teams for market rates and customer requirements.
- Support airline bookings and overseas partner coordination.
- Monitor shipment execution to ensure service commitments are achieved.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of quotations.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily and weekly sales coordination reports.
- Maintain customer databases and inquiry tracking records.
- Generate MIS reports on RFQs, conversions, and pipeline status.
- Support management with sales performance analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of airline operations, export documentation, and pricing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and customer relationship management skills.
